FIRE/EMS TRAINING
Information from the Alberta Emergency Management Agency for the 2010 Regional Training Grant Initiative has been approved. Discussion amongst the grant holders has taken place prior to the release of the course schedule to alleviate any duplication in courses being offered in the Peace Region. Courses will continue to be at no charge for departments attending. Meals will continue to be provided, however, we will not be able to fund mileage or hotel costs for courses.
As in previous years we would like to capture any and all training being offered in the Peace Region on the Calendar, whether your department is hosting this training on your own or it is being offered as part of the Regional Training Grant Initiative. Please forward to firechiefs@prfc.ca any information you have on any courses set for this year. Be sure to include any First Aid, EMS, Air Brake Endorsement training, etc. that may be scheduled.
If you are involved in offering a course and have space available, let us know. Informatin forwarded by you is shared with all departments in the Peace Region.
