Now that we have a bit more context about the Bible, where should we start? The best way to get to know Jesus better, is by spending time with him. We encourage you to make it a daily habit to read the Bible and pray. If you want to have a close relationship with someone, you need to spend time together, and that is what we are encouraging you to do! Sometimes our daily devotional time can feel like one more thing on our to-do list. But the truth is, God wants to draw close to you and it is the most rewarding way you could spend your time.
There are many amazing resources to help you.
YouVersion Bible App - a free app with the full bible (print and audio) as well as thousands of daily devotionals and plans
DailyBread - a daily devotional and scripture reading. We have print copies on the welcome desk in the church foyer or you can find it online Here: https://www.odbm.org/en/
Feeling adventurous? Why not start a Bible in a Year plan! These plans break down the whole bible into daily scripture readings. Check out these ones (all available on the YouVersion App):
